Select the respective size head, pick up the wolf tooth with the end of the thumb, guide the instrument ‘to cap’ the wolf tooth, apply pressure up against the jaw and rotate clockwise separating the tooth from the alveolus.
If the tooth is a small one, a slight levering of the instrument will extract the tooth without forceps. If the teeth are large, loosen as above then simply extract with forceps.
The angulated head is for teeth which are well set back.
