A unique bandage is now being produced in Australia under the brand name “Bio-Band”.

This bandage is an open weave dressing incorporating Triclosan N/S* fibre which is known to have anti microbial properties. The function of Triclosan N/S* in the bandage is to preserve it in a hygienic condition and inhibit the growth of gram positive, gram negative and fungi.

Triclosan is approved by U.S. Food & Drug Administration for open wound contact in surgical/wound applications,

Available in 5cm, 7.5cm, 10cm and 15cm sizes.

All bandages are 1.5m in length.
